UOP, this is for you. Haha!

Under the Christmas tree

You know it has been amazing when time flies right before your very eyes. Even I've been back in good ole Singapore for merely a week, it feels like I've been back for months, or even years. Sometimes I feel so comfortable that I forgot I had ever left this country.

I think Isaac and I are falling in love with Singapore, yet again.

It's been a week of a ton of fun, as well as time well spent with our dear friends.
I just love how we all know each and other so well, simply cause we grew up together and have been through quite a bit together. I'm so so so so grateful for these precious and priceless friendships. Not only can we have an insane amount of fun together, but we can also count on each other to be there whenever a need arises.

Have been back from Summer Project for about a week or so.
It's been a wild and crazy ride the past 3 weeks.

Will have a more detailed update on the Project soon, but for now I'll keep it brief with some pictures (:

The whole Torquay gang.
Miss them so much!

Joy Toy, Rosie Lips & Sarah
At the guys' house after our Sunday-curry rendezvous.

Yenny & Lorenzo
Our regular jamming sessions (:

Kuda!
(a.k.a Licorice gummy bear!!!)

I have a love-hate relationship with the fact
that I'm always at the bottom of pile ups.
I guess it's better to be squashed than to squash.
It was surprisingly comfortable.

"Get amongst!"

Love these girls!!!
Total legends.

I learnt a whole lot of things while at the project, but I'd say the lesson that really stuck with me is this: Really, all we need is Jesus.

Everything else can never satisfy, no matter how hard we seek to fill that void. Everything, apart from Christ, will crumble beneath our feet if we use those things to create the foundation of our life. People need to know the love of Christ more than they need anything else in the world.

I've also realised that we underestimate prayer way too much, it is a powerful weapon that God wants us to use unceasingly.

Last but not least, God is beautiful. It pours out into His creation. On several occasions I just look around me and see God's beauty displayed in it's glory and splendor through the waves of the ocean, the vast measure of stars in the night sky, the smile of a child and the eyes of a true friend. It's truly unconfined and amazing.

An unending love,
a love like no other.
